Mothleaf is our proof that a small store can be run day to day by an AI. Which AI agent does it use?

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any agent that connects over MCP. The subscription is in your name and you pay its provider directly, so you control the spend.

What does it cost to run each month?

Your ShopsWired plan (from $29/mo), your AI agent's subscription, and altengine usage for the board, where the first $3 each month is free. Nothing goes to Altlimit after setup.

Can the agent spend money or issue refunds?

No. Checkout is set up by you, refunds are issued by you, and anything irreversible becomes a question on the board instead of an action.

What are the first weeks like?

The agent asks more questions at the start, while its rules are still being written. Plan to check the board daily at first. Setup includes 30 days of rule tuning, so the questions taper off as the rules fill in.
